Jubilee
Jubilee
When the highest mountains and the sprawling plains meet eye to eye, we’ll realize we all share the same ground. This song is the celebration of our hearts end hope, freedom, equity and unity. We released Jubilee on Juneteenth 2024, the anniversary of the day that America began its much troubled pursuit of a creating a level playing field for all.

VERSE 1
B
Like a withered tree
Longing in the wilderness
B
Waiting far too long
E
For the day of desert springs
B
And the blooms of all our hope
B
Like the dissonance of
The dark before the dawn
B
Waiting far too long
E
For the light to sing its song
B
And resolve to a new day
CHORUS
F#
Every prayer brings us closer
E
Every tear is a page turned
VERSE 2
Like a yearning child
Face pressed on the wIndow pane
Waiting far too long
For their father to come home
From when the battle has been won
BRIDGE
B
Jubilee
F# E
When we’re dancing in the streets
G#m F#
And the fault lines all recede

And the valleys meet the peaks
